Matthias Eichelbrönner advises companies, investores and institutions in matters of project development, financing, implementation and operation of renewable energies projects. Based on 25 years of expericence his consultation includes issues related to engineering, feasibility studies as well as the financeability of projects and related due diligence of projects transactions or project restructuring.

He focuses on bioenergy, solar energy, hydro power and wind power as well as storage technologies for customers in Germany and Europe. In addition, he is operating in Asia.

Matthias Eichelbrönner founded together with Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Daniel Heiler the company E.Quadrat GmbH in the year 2006. Since 2011 he is Visiting Professor for Renewable Energies at University of Applied Sciences Mannheim.

After more than 40 years of professional life Prof Wolfgang Kottnik has gained a varied experience, which he uses as consultant to industry as well as for his job as lecturer. Within the scope of his teaching activity at the University of Applied Sciences Mannheim he was involved in several research projects with industrial enterprises ("model city Mannheim": smart grid project, "future fleet": electric mobility, and "energy bank": local energy storage in the grid). He is accredited as energy auditor for carrying out energy audits in compliance with the energy services act according to BAFA.

Daniel Heiler founded together with Dr. Matthias Eichelbrönner the company E.Quadrat GmbH in the year 2006. After conducting some projects in the fields of biogas and bioenergy, Mr. Heiler was engaged in a deep geothermal project near Munich, where he is still active as an adviser. The project also comprises a district heating system with a length of some 60 km (trace) for a small city. Mr. Heiler has been gaining the expertise therefore while working more than 30 years with district heating systems, abroad and in Germany. Additionally to that Mr. Heiler gained skills concerning balancing power, especially connected with Power to Heat facilities. He is also specialized in solar heat in combination with district heating, as well as preparation of heating and cooling concepts in combination with renewable energies.
