After in total six and a half years, the plant went into operation. E.Quadrat supported the project from its very nascent stage up to the beginning of construction. The physical implementation itself was performed by Greencells GmbH, Saarbrücken Germany, together with its Malaysian partners.
E.Quadrat initiated the installation of 1.000 kW solar power generation on medicine logistics company Medline's warehouse rooftops in order to reduce the company's electricity costs, and attended to the implementation up till the date of commissioning and afterwards.
With the BEM project, E.Quadrat is further expanding its 7-year activities in Vietnam. As part of the GIZ-funded Vietnamese-German project "Climate Protection through Sustainable Bioenergy Markets (BEM)", E.Quadrat was assigned to lead a team of international experts to carry out capacity building in the field of biomass energy production for the public, private and financial sectors in Vietnam.
